Watford Part Ways With Mazzarri, Consider Marco Silva For The Role

Walter Mazzarri has been sacked by Watford after a disappointing season for the club. Hull’s Marco Silva is seen as the potential replacement.
Mazzarri managed to do just enough to get Watford clear of the drop zone, but Watford owners have sacked the Italian nonetheless, as they feel he had to better. The Hornets find themselves 16th in the Premier League table.
An official statement released by the club read: “After the Board discussed with Walter Mazzarri the club’s future goals and aspirations, it was decided he will be stepping down from his position as the club’s Head Coach after the final game of the 2016/17 season.
“We thank Walter and his staff for the contribution they have made to Watford Football Club over the past year.”
Watford are considering to bring in Marco Silva of the relegated Hull City to succeed Mazzarri. However, it won’t be easy for the Hornets to lure Marco, as there are a number of clubs interested in his services, including clubs from his native Portugal.

Marcos Silva, despite getting relegated with Hull, has impressed many a clubs during his 5-month tenure.
Hull City and Silva are yet to announce anything for next season, but it is believed that the Portuguese coach will have numerous offers in the summer to leave Hull. Clubs across Europe, in countries like England, Spain and Portugal, are seeking to hire Silva as head coach.
Marco Silva is not the only name on the radar of the Hornets, as Watford have their own shortlist, and are set to decide on the best option for the club in the summer.
