OFFICIAL: Juventus Sign Juan Cuadrado For £17.2m On A Permanent Deal

Italian giants Juventus have completed the signing of Juan Cuadrado on a permanent basis from Chelsea, after two long years on loan at Turin.
The Colombian international joined Chelsea from Fiorentina back in 2015 under Jose Mourinho, but has spent the last couple of seasons on loan in Turin. His deal was supposed to be a three-year loan deal, but Juventus have now officially made his deal permanent.
The 28-year old has been in terrific form in the Serie A, and has won the domestic league title in the last two seasons with Juventus.
He hardly got a chance during his time in England, making just four Premier League appearances, and having helped Juventus to yet another Champions League final, he is now an integral part of the squad in Turin.
Cuadrado has 83 appearances to his name in Italy, and is now going to make a £17.2m switch from Chelsea, the price Juventus have agreed to pay for his services.
A press statement from Juventus read: “Juventus announces that, following the meeting of the conditions provided by the contract, its obligation to definitively acquire the registration rights of Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea became due.
“The permanent transfer fee of 20 million euros is to be paid in three annual instalments starting from the 2017/2018 financial year. The 28-year-old forward has signed a contract that ties him to the Bianconeri until 30 June 2020.”
Having failed to establish himself in England, Cuadrado is one of the deadliest wingers in world football at the moment, and it is a surprise to see Antonio Conte let him leave to Italy.
However, that might mean that the Italian manager has some serious transfers planned for the club this summer.
