Ivan Perisic Could Leave Inter Milan Within Ten Days
Italian giants Inter Milan want Manchester United to finalise Ivan Perisic deal in the next ten days.
The Serie A giants are set to be one of the busiest clubs in the transfer window, as they are looking for a squad overhaul by targeting some of the brightest players in the world for a move this summer.
However, the Financial Fair Play regulations require them to offload a few players before they can add some, and it is reported that they have decided to sell Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic to comply with the regulations.
The experienced midfielder has been in superb form, and stands as one of the most productive players in his position in the Serie A this term.
However, his wages are a burden for the Italian team, who are ready to let him go, and Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly set to help Inter out in this situation.
Reports constantly suggest that Manchester United have agreed on a deal with the player, and they now have to negotiate a deal with the Serie A outfit. The Red Devils are ready to pay around €40m for his services, but Inter Milan want the price to touch the €50m mark.
However, United have an edge in this situation, as they might be able to push Inter Milan into reducing his fee if they are able to delay the deal.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Inter Milan need to recoup some funds before the 30th of June and are desperate to offload Perisic before that date. They are not ready to leave it till the end, and are desperate for United to complete a deal in the upcoming days.
Though United want Perisic badly, this will give them an upper hand in the negotiations.
