PSG To Approach AC Milan For Gianluigi Donnarumma
PSG’s newly appointed Director of Football Antero Henrique is heading to Milan in an attempt to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma, RMC from France reports.
The highly rated goalkeeper has his fans all around Europe, with numerous clubs monitoring his progress and situation. The 18-year-old makes an exciting potential signing for many clubs – even more so because of the fact that he has only one year left on his contract with AC Milan.
With Donnarumma, Paris Saint-Germain are looking to add quality to their squad during the summer, after failing to win the Ligue 1 last season. The French Giants were knocked out of Champions League at the hands of Barcelona before losing the domestic league to Monaco.
PSG have sent their envoy to Milan, where they will meet the officials of the Italian club to discuss a deal for the teenage sensation. Henrique, who replaced Patrick Kluivert as PSG’s Director of Football just a week ago, is said to be pulling the strings already, as he is indulged in serious negotiations for the Italian goalkeeper.
Donnarumma has been offered a new deal to stay at San Siro, however, he is waiting on offers from other clubs before committing his future to the Serie A giants.
Real Madrid are another club reported to be keen on the shot-stopper. Club boss Zinedine Zidane wants to recruit Donnarumma as the back-up for the no.1 Keylor Navas.
