Revealed: The Actual Text Antonio Conte Sent Diego Costa Asking Him To Leave Chelsea

Antonio Conte reportedly asked Diego Costa to leave Chelsea this summer over a text message, and the contents of the message are now revealed.
The Blues managed to lift their sixth league title, their second in the last three years, as they helped Antonio Conte to his first Premier League title in his debut in England.
The Italian manager made some smart buys in the summer at the start of the season, but a lot of credit has to go to Spanish striker Diego Costa, who has been in impeccable form in the recent season.
The former Atletico Madrid man had a falling out with Conte which saw him linked with an exit at the start of the year, and though it looked like the duo mended their ways, it is now revealed that Conte is ready to sell Costa.
With 20 goals to his name in the league, Costa was Chelsea’s top scorer in the title-winning season, but Spanish outlet AS have now revealed the text message that Conte sent to Costa.
According to the story, Conte wished all his players a good time off in the offseason, and when Costa gave a playful reply, he was smartly turned down by Conte.
Conte sent a message that started with a nice greeting, but ended telling Costa that he was no longer needed at the Stamford Bridge.
His text read: ‘Hi Diego, I hope you are well. Thank you for the season we spent together. Good luck for next year but you are not in my plans.’

If true, it is a cruel way to tell one of your best players that they are not wanted for another year.
