Adnan Januzaj Identified As A Target By Real Sociedad
After bursting onto the Premier League scene with Manchester United a few seasons ago, Adnan Januzaj was termed as the next Cristiano Ronaldo by many.
However, the rise faced a fall of worse magnitude, as not only did he run out of favour as a Red Devil, but he was then sent out to loan to Sunderland, where he faced relegation with David Moyes last season.
The player was deemed to be surplus to requirements even with his former manager, and that was proof of how low his career and confidence has fallen.
Despite all of that, the pacy and highly skilled attacker now has a chance to revive himself, and he might do so in a different country altogether, as La Liga side Real Sociedad seem to have grown interested in him.
As mentioned by their President, Jokin Aperribay, the club will be after the Belgian’s services during the upcoming summer transfer window.
However, with more teams like Roma and Celtic part of the race, and the Red Devils being the ultimate decider, a deal for the 22-year-old might be tough to crack.
Jokin Aperribay recently stated: “It’s true that we are interested [in Januzaj] but we are not in talks with Manchester or with him.
“We are waiting for the decision of Manchester United and then we will act. There are more teams interested in him and his signing won’t be easy.”
The young lad is desperate to get back into form and be among the best again, and after failing to score in 25 appearances last season, and spending a disappointing loan spell at Borussia Dortmund prior to that, the La Liga might be the saviour he needs.
