Man United Eye Joe Hart As Real Madrid Renew Interest In David De Gea
Manchester United are reportedly preparing a surprise move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, if United’s star shot-stopper, David De Gea, leaves Old Trafford this summer.
De Gea has been the Red Devils’ Player of the Year for three consecutive years between 2013 to 2016, making him an integral part of the current United squad, and his departure could be a massive blow to the Old Trafford club if the Spaniard is not replaced with a top notch player.
As per reports for the Sun, United gaffer Jose Mourinho wants City rivals’ goalkeeper, Joe Hart to replace the Spain international if he makes a switch to the Bernabeu this summer.
The European Champions have been heavily linked with De Gea, but after Keylor Navas’s outstanding performances in both the domestic and Champions League, Madrid seemed to have cooled down their interest in the Spanish star.

However, as per latest reports, Los Blancos have once again revived their plans to bring the 26-year-old back to his homeland, in a deal that could be worth up to a world record sum of £60 million.
And if the deal was to crack between the two sides, Mourinho has made it clear that he would have Joe Hart guard United’s goal for the upcoming season.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Torino after Pep Guardiola brought in Claudio Bravo, who is now expected to leave the Etihad after the arrival of Benfica stopper Ederson.
Nonetheless, it remains to be seen if the Citizens would agree to do business with their biggest rivals, but United seem set to bring in the England international.
Also, the Red Devils would like to push through the Alvaro Morata transfer if that means offering their own star player to Real Madrid.
