Mourinho To Target Both Morata And Lukaku
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign Romelu Lukaku even if Alvaro Morata moves to Old Trafford from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The Belgium international was initially on Mourinho’s shopping list, but with the club pursing Morata, it was believed that Lukaku was no longer a priority signing for the Red Devils.
But as per The Sun, the Special One wants to add more quality and depth to his side in order to put an end to United’s goal-scoring problems once and for all. Hence, Mourinho has made it evident that he wants another quality striker, and has told the higher officials at Old Trafford to push forward with a deal for the Everton talisman.

It was also claimed that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte too, wants Lukaku back at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues’ boss is unwilling to pay a world record fee of £100 million that the Toffees have been demanding for their superstar.
Lukaku, who was forced by Mourinho to move to Goodison Park in 2014 for £28 million, still hasn’t forgotten what the Portuguese tactician did to him, but with the Red Devils back in Europe’s elite competition – a stage where Lukaku has been dreaming to be on – the Belgian striker is reportedly ready to consider what Mourinho has in store for him.
Also, it was believed that Morata had told his close friends that the deal to Old Trafford was done, but recent reports suggest that Los Blancos have again rejected United’s £60 million offer, and are now demanding another £20 million on top of it, after Zinedine Zidane told the club to block the Spaniard’s transfer.
