Man United Just A Step Away From Concluding The Morata Deal, As Per Marca

Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is just one step away from completing his mega move to Manchester United, according to MARCA.
Manchester United have been in the pursuit of Morata for quite some time now, but negotiations have been slow due to Real Madrid’s high asking price for their backup striker’s services, and the Red Devils’ reluctance to cough up more than necessary for the Spaniard.
However, the two European giants seem to have progressed in the positive direction in their discussions, as only €5m separate the Champions League winners’ asking price from the Europa League winners’ latest offer.

The Premier League side has submitted a bid worth €75m, which falls just a little shy of the rock-hard €80m evaluation set by Los Blancos.
However, given the closeness of the two figures, the trusted Spanish news outlet claims that a final agreement “could be completed within the coming hours”.
Therefore, with Alvaro Morata’s reunion with Jose Mourinho appearing all but imminent, it looks like the Manchester United fans may finally see the 24-year-old forward posing with the famous Red shirt, after several weeks of waiting.
