Real Madrid To Offer Chelsea Two Of Their Star Players In An Astonishing Deal
Chelsea have been given a shocker, as their long-term target Romelu Lukaku has agreed terms with Manchester United, and a move is almost inevitable. Real Madrid, however, have come to the aid of the London club, by offering them 2 great players for a cumulative value of £133m.
Chelsea are left with little backup in their search for a striker, which they so desperately seek this season. Lukaku’s high profile transfer to Old Trafford has shaken some life back into the transfer window, in an otherwise dull time for the market.
The Blues were so confident that they would be able to acquire the services of the Belgian, that Antonio Conte already started making decisions expecting his presence at the club – an example being Diego Costa’s departure. The Spanish International had been told by Conte that he would not be able to play regularly, which infuriated the player, who then planned his route out of the club.

After finding a position back into the Champions League, Conte would find bigger teams and issues to deal with than just the Premier League. A larger stage requires better players and squad depth to realize bigger dreams, and hence, the Italian manager would be frantically looking for quality options open in the market, irrespective of the cost.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have been very profit-oriented since their President Florentino Perez took charge. Apart from maintaining the best club status in Europe, they also never shy out of an opportunity to make a profit.
Earlier, Manchester United were almost certain to bring in Morata. But after three failed bids, a sudden change of plans saw Chelsea’s star target Romelu Lukaku being snatched away by the Reds. Real Madrid, though, would have understandably noticed the void between supply and demand for the Premier League Champions.
According to reports from The Sun, Los Blancos have switched offers from the two United-bound targets Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez, who are now available to Chelsea for £133 million. It only remains to be seen if the Blues will hit up on the offer.

Antonio Conte has been often claimed to be displeased with how the Chelsea management has been handling the entire transfer situation this season, with only one decent signing in Antonio Rudiger. Only a few weeks ago, Conte had expressed his angst to the club, and threatened to quit if they didn’t improve on the transfer front.
On the other hand, a £133 million move for the two upcoming stars can be a huge steal, considering each player currently are valued at £70 million individually. The two 24-year-olds can also turn out to be a decent long-term investment who are already performing great, and are yet to hit their peak age.
Will Chelsea be able to bring the star duo from Madrid to Stamford Bridge? We can only wait and watch!
