Serge Aurier Could Move To Manchester After Dani Alves Arrival In Paris
Manchester United’s summer transfer speculation continues to move along, and this time, the Premier League club is being linked with Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier once again.
According to reports, PSG’s signing of Dani Alves from Juventus on a 2-year deal could pave the way for Aurier to move elsewhere, with Old Trafford being one of his potential destinations. Alves has signed a bumper contract, and is going to provide a lot of competition for the right-back role, and Aurier will be tested immensely.
Jose Mourinho’s side have the options of Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian as right-backs. The Ecuadorian, thought, has been the preferred choice at the right side of defence under the Portuguese, and is expected to lead the line this season as well.

But with the Red Devils seeking a long-term replacement for the 32-year-old, and Jose still unsure on Darmian’s ability, Serge Aurier could be an able signing for the Old Trafford outfit.
Back in April, French outlet L’Equipe reported that Aurier had agreed to join Mourinho in Manchester this summer. The Mancunian club was said to have offered a deal for the player, and now, PSG could successfully sell Aurier, with England his likely destination.
The 24-year-old played 32 games for the French side last season, and is considered a key player in the PSG squad. But should Jose come calling for him, he could be tempted to leave Paris, and ply his trade in Manchester.
