Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez has not left his fellow teammates under any delusion that he is satisfied in North London, as the former Barcelona star has been reportedly in search of a new destination amid links to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.

The Chilean international returned to training at London Colney on Tuesday, two days late of his initial return due, but was permitted to return late as he had been struck with minor health problems.

However, since his return, Sanchez has made it apparent among the rest of squad that that he’s unhappy at Arsenal, as an exit is preferred, claims the Daily Mail. The Copa America winner reportedly has not kept any of his colleagues under the illusion of a definite stay at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, City and PSG have seemingly not given up on their pursuits to sign the talented frontman. Moreover, it’s clear why even Bayern Munich were interested in him – the star man scored 30 goals and provided 13 assists across all competitions, and became the Gunners’ top scorer and the player of the season during the previous campaign.

On the other hand, boss Arsene Wenger insists the forward will not be sold this summer, especially to an English side. The Frenchman seems confident on his talisman’s stay, and would certainly be hoping for just that. The Gunners boss also denied claims of the 28-year-old being unhappy in London during a recent interview.

Wenger stated: “Of course (he will stay). There is not a lot to resolve with the player. I have spoken through text and it was very positive. My thoughts are always positive.”

Though the former Barca man is not sure to feature in Arsenal’s clash against Chelsea on Sunday’s Community Shield, he is widely expected to be on the pitch in the League opener against Leicester City on August 11.

Sanchez is yet to sign a contract extension, despite its expiration being less than a year away. Wenger will certainly be keen on keeping all his star players going into the new season. The stay of Sanchez and Ozil, along with the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, would mean the Gunners will be offering a tough title challenge, and will be hoping to take the league by storm.
