Everyone’s Loving What Lionel Messi Tweeted After Neymar Left Barca

Arguably one of the best in the sport, Lionel Messi already seems to be thinking about creating history with Barcelona, even before the completion of Neymar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar completed his world record £199 million move from Barcelona to PSG today, surpassing Paul Pogba’s £89 million move to Manchester United in 2016 with double margins.
The Ligue 1 giants have already captured Dani Alves, and now, the full-back has been joined by his star compatriot at Parc des Princes.
But almost a day prior to the official unveiling and announcement of the arrival of Neymar Jr to PSG, Leo Messi, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, seemed to have accepted how ‘times change,’ as evident from a tweet from Team Messi via their twitter account.
As the Argentine prepares for next season without Neymar, the official twitter account of Team Messi, a global fan movement founded by adidas, posted a tweet yesterday that included a picture of Leo Messi in the stands gazing onto the pitch with the message: “Times change.The greatest remains. #HereToCreate.”

The 30-year-old has been part of the Blaugrana first team since 2004 and has dazzled the pitch along with many footballing greats, including the likes of Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o, Thierry Henry, Xavi, and Iniesta. And now, the Argentine appears to be ready again to take on the challenge after the end of the famous ‘MSN’ partnership.
With just a couple of weeks left for the beginning of a new season, and with Barca looking to regain the La Liga Silverware, Messi already seems to be focused on what lies ahead instead of being pensive over the departure of Neymar.
