Tottenham’s Danny Rose wants to join Chelsea over Manchester United this summer.

Danny Rose’s explosive interview, where he cited his desire to leave Spurs, is doing rounds all over the internet. The left-back has claimed that he doesn’t feel he gets paid enough, and knows that he deserves more. The England international also said that he can’t wait for long at Tottenham, because he wants to win trophies.

Ever since the interview surfaced online, Rose has been touted to make a switch to Manchester United by many. However, recent reports suggest that the player would rather like a transfer to Chelsea, with The Times reporting that Rose will hand in a transfer request if Chelsea show a keen desire to sign him this summer.

Rose has been out with an injury since January, and the interest in his services is building up along with his fitness. Earlier, Tottenham saw the back of their first choice right-back Kyle Walker, who joined Manchester City, which is why it is understandable that Spurs wouldn’t want to see their left-back leave in the same transfer window.

While talking to The Sun, Rose had stated: “I’m not saying I want out, but if something came to me that was concrete, I’d have no qualms about voicing my opinions to anyone at the club,” and further added how he would like to move up north, close to his home.

Meanwhile, it looks like Mourinho and Conte are about to indulge in another tussle, after having already gone head-to-head for Lukaku. Although Mourinho won the first battle, the emerging news indicates that Conte can now get one over Mourinho by signing Rose.
