It appears that Gareth Bale is destined for Old Trafford. Being linked with Manchester United in nearly every single transfer window since his departure to Real Madrid, the forward has been envisioned as a part of countless lineups as a Red Devil.
Now that Manchester United are keen on starting off their UEFA Champions League campaign in a bright manner in the group stages, one former United player knows what they might need to win the coveted title.
Ryan Giggs knows the English club more than several others, having spent his entire senior career there as well as stints on the coaching staff. He has now gone onto prophesize that if United sign fellow Welshman, Bale, they can be serious contenders for Europe’s top prize.

Further, on the abilities of manager Jose Mourinho, he had this to say: “Obviously, Mourinho has won the trophy before so we’re going to be there or thereabouts, but whether we’ve got the players to go the whole way, I don’t know.”
