Arsenal Star Wants A Manchester United Move Next Summer
According to German Publication Bild, Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is eyeing a move to Manchester United next summer.
Ozil has established himself as one of the best playmakers in the world, after Arsene Wenger signed the German from Real Madrid for a reported fee of £42.5 million.
Despite Ozil being pivotal to Arsenal’s three FA Cup triumphs, the 28-year-old suffered a lull in form for large parts of the 2016-17 campaign, and as a result, the Gunners missed out on a Champions League berth for the first time in 21 years.
Although Ozil endured a below-par campaign, the World Cup winner still remains a vital component for Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger is making constant efforts to make him sign a new contract, as his current deal is set to expire next year.

With a number of stars reaching the end of their contracts, there is no doubt that Wenger has already been facing a huge headache, and now, the reports in Germany claim that Ozil is eyeing a sensational switch to Manchester United at the end of his contract.
The report also goes on to say that Ozil wants a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. The playmaker played under the Portuguese tactician whilst the pair was together at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013.
There is no denying that Ozil enjoyed a stellar second season under Mourinho, as his 17 assists played a pivotal role in Real Madrid’s La Liga title triumph. And the fact that the German has always heaped praise on Mourinho in the past suggests Old Trafford would probably be his next destination once his contract ends next summer.
Meanwhile, the headline speculation has broken Arsenal fans’ heart, as they already saw Robin van Persie firing Manchester United to the Premier title after sealing a move from the Emirates to the Theatre of Dreams back in 2012.
And now, considering that Ozil is also apparently moving in the same direction, the fans are pleading the German on social media to sign a new contract and stay loyal to the club.
