Fans Are Absolutely Loving Anthony Martial’s Post-Match Interview After Burton Win
Manchester United were ruthless and comfortable in yet another performance last night, as they brushed away Burton Albion with a 4-1 win at Old Trafford. This result saw them progress into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup – a title they’re defending.
Jose Mourinho put out a squad that wasn’t his strongest, but names like Rashford, Lingard and Martial dazzled to prove that the squad’s depth can be relied upon.
The French forward assisted Lingard’s goal and himself scored United’s fourth, adding to a performance full of pace, dribbling brilliance, and creativity.

However, the highlight of the night was when the camera shy and conservative Martial took part in his post-match interview.
Giving his interview alongside Jesse Lingard, the lad spoke a few words in English, and said: “We played good today and with Jesse we played good. I hope Saturday we win again. It was a good game, we continue like this.”

The Frenchman is surely beginning to impress his manager this campaign, and it is clearly evident how he is a fan favourite too. Manchester United look unstoppable at the moment, and the youngster just makes them that much better.
