Everton Interested In Signing Bournemouth’s Joshua King

According to The Sun, Everton are keeping tabs on Bournemouth star Joshua King, and could make a move for the Norwegian in January.
Having spent more than £150 million in the recently concluded summer transfer window, the Toffees have failed to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku.
There is no denying that their failure to sign a proper forward is costing them too much, as they required their reserve striker Oumar Niasse to rescue them from a defeat against Bournemouth on Saturday. The Senegal international’s double not only ended Everton’s run of three consecutive defeats, but also lifted them out of the bottom three.
The Toffees’ fans have strongly condemned Ronald Koeman’s failure to add quality players on the attacking front, and as a result, the former Ajax manager is desperate to sign Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

The report adds that the 25-year-old’s versatility is one of the main reasons why Everton are keen to sign him for the second half of the season. Since joining Bournemouth in the summer of 2015, King has established himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League.
Owing to his exploits for the Cherries, the former Manchester United player was strongly linked with Tottenham in the summer, but the player himself rejected the move, as he reportedly did not wish to play second fiddle to Harry Kane.
Having said that, a move to Everton would be perfect for King, and having experienced players like Wayne Rooney around him would surely make him a better player than he currently is.
