Real Madrid Prepared To Fight For £155m-Rated Paulo Dybala
Paulo Dybala has gotten off to a brilliant start in the 2017-18 campaign, and is in red hot form for Italian giants Juventus. The Argentine star is steadily growing to become one of the most notable names in world football, and it is believed that several big suitors are monitoring his performances.
In fact, La Liga champions Real Madrid are said to have renewed their interest in signing the talented striker, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo (via Football Italia). Zinedine Zidane is supposedly keen to get him to the Spanish capital, as he believes the youngster will be a world class addition to the squad.
Real let James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata depart this summer, but failed to bring in any big name in the attack. They were heavily interested in Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, but Paris Saint-Germain outbid them to land the Frenchman instead.
Los Blancos still have several top players in contention, but it is reported that Paulo Dybala is being primarily focused on by club president Florentino Perez to add more gloss to his team.
Real aren’t the only club chasing the forward, however, as reports also state that Man Utd are keen on luring the player to Old Trafford with a mammoth £155m bid. But things could get complex, as Dybala is said to be happy in Turin, having signed a new contract earlier this year, in April.
If Real do bid for Dybala, it will be interesting to see whether Juve agree to sell their prized asset, as they are in no pressure to rack up the cash. Failure in this pursuit could then lead Real to turn their attention to Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann, by activating his release clause next summer.
