Jose Mourinho is set to welcome 3 players back from injury after they missed out on the midweek Champions League game against CSKA Moscow. Antonio Valencia, Phil Jones and Marouane Fellaini are in contention to be back for the Crystal Palace game on Saturday.

According to Manchester Evening News, Jones, Valencia, and Fellaini were all present at the Lowry hotel, where the team is staying – which is a clear sign that they could be involved. All three players had small injuries, which prevented them from travelling to Russia a few days ago.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho is hopeful that some of his injured men might be able to play a role today against the Eagles.

While speaking to the press, the Portuguese stated: “We have to train and make decisions after training. I hope some of the players who couldn’t play in Moscow, I hope that, maybe not all of them, but some of them can recover.”

Manchester United already have top players like Ibrahimovic and Pogba injured for long term, which is why they would be delighted with the latest development in some of their players’ fitness. Mourinho would be keen to kead the title charge for his team, after having made an impressive start to the campaign.
