Kylian Mbappe Urges PSG To Sign Antoine Griezmann
New arrival Kylian Mbappe has settled quite easily in Paris following his arrival as a loanee at Paris Saint-Germain, and as per Don Balon, the youngster has asked the club to swoop for his French teammate Antoine Griezmann before Manchester United.
The Atletico Madrid talisman was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League giants this summer, to a point where his arrival at Old Trafford looked imminent.
However, Atleti’s transfer ban ultimately saw the Frenchman remain at the Wanda Metropolitano.

On the other hand, Mbappe arrived alongside Neymar Jr. for a reported combined fee of a hefty €400 million. Both players have been incredible signings for the Parisians, but despite their brilliant performances, the Brazilian’s on-pitch squabble over a spot-kick with Edinson Cavani has been grabbing the most media attention.

Though the PSG higher-ups claim that there were so issues to be resolved between the two superstars in the first place, if repeated reports are to be believed, Neymar has supposedly gone as far as to demand the sale of Cavani from the club’s board.
In the scenario of the former Napoli man’s departure, Mbappe reportedly wants Griezmann to replace him as the new number nine at the Parc des Princes. Further, Don Balon also reported that the Atletico forward himself asked the young Frenchman to secure him a transfer to Paris.
Understandably, the former Monaco starlet believes that the arrival of the talented striker would ensure them some major silverware in the long run.
However, the Red Devils are also contenders for Griezmann’s signature, and will undoubtedly offer a tough challenge if both teams were to make a move for him. United are expected to make another attempt at securing the French international’s services next summer, despite the arrival of Romelu Lukaku and the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Nevertheless, the 26-year-old will surely stay put at the Spanish capital till the end of the campaign, which means a very entertaining transfer season lies ahead.
