Benfica President In Manchester To Complete Sanches To Man United Deal

Benfica president Luís Filipe Vieira is currently in Manchester to finalize the Renato Sanches to Manchester United deal, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

The report states that the Benfica president, alongside ‘Special Agent’ Jorge Mendes, who represents Sanches, met with the United officials to finalize the sale of the highly-rated Portuguese midfielder.

O Jogo have also claimed that Jorge Mendes was photographed along with Valencia owner Peter Lim at Hotel Football on Tuesday, which is situated outside Old Trafford, just after holding talks with Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward.

The newspaper still stands with their old report suggesting how United are willing to pay a total of €60m, with €40m up-front and the remaining €20m in bonuses.

However, president Luís Filipe Vieira is believed to want more money up-front and lesser in bonuses, which is why a deal will be reached as soon as Manchester United up their initial €40m figure.
