Shocking Blow: Marouane Fellaini Rejects New Contract Offer
Premier League club Manchester United are finding it difficult to keep hold of their star midfielder Marouane Fellaini, with the player rejecting a new contract offered on the table.
The Belgian is a key asset for manager Jose Mourinho, and has shown his importance time and again under the Portuguese. He is currently in his final year of his current contract with the club, after the Old Trafford side triggered a one-year extension last season. And with the first offer rejected, they will be hoping to find a solution soon.

According to The Telegraph, Fellaini has turned down a first formal offer by the club, as he seeks a bumper deal to keep him at Old Trafford for many more years.
The player, who was signed under former manager David Moyes back in 2013, had initially agreed to a four-year deal after joining from Everton, with an extension clause in his contract.
Jose has been vocal on how vital Fellaini is for him, and earlier stated that he will go nowhere, when reports revealed the interest from Turkish clubs in getting him. Fellaini has been a happy player in the United ranks, and is looking for a valuable contract that will make him feel important.
It is understood that the club will come back soon with a new offer, and hope the midfielder puts pen on paper, as they have several other players to sort contract issues with.
Reports state that besides the Belgian, the likes of David de Gea, Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford are all set to be offered new deals by the end of the season. Fellaini is currently injured, and the Mancunian club will hope he returns back to action quickly and help the scarcity in midfield.
