United Formulate A Sensational Plan To Block Mourinho’s PSG Move

Manchester United are preparing a new bumper contract for manager Jose Mourinho, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho’s future at the Mancunian outfit has been under major doubt ever since the Portuguese publicly stated that he won’t be ending his future at the Old Trafford club, and further spoke about his admiration for the city of Paris as well as French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ligue 1 club has since been linked with a swoop for the master tactician, with reports even claiming that PSG are set to make full use of their Portuguese sporting director Antero Henrique, so as to convince Jose to make the switch and lead the club to some much-awaited European glory.

However, in his recent press conference, Mourinho tried to end the speculation surrounding his future and clarify his previous statements, by explaining: “Nothing is happening; I am not signing a new five-year contract and I am not leaving for PSG. I have a contract and that is it.”
Many journalists and football experts have since claimed that this has all been nothing but a ploy from the ex-Chelsea boss, implemented in order to extract a new and improved deal from Manchester United. And if latest reports from Goal are to be believed, the Special One seems to have succeeded in doing so.
The Red Devils have reportedly prepared a new 5-year contract for Mourinho, which is worth a mammoth £65 million. When broken down, this deal would see the manager earn around £250,000 per week at the Theatre of Dreams.
Furthermore, this new contract, if signed and fulfilled, would also make Mourinho’s Manchester United spell the longest tenure of his decorated career, with his previous one being his stay at Stamford Bridge between June 2004 and September 2007.
Manchester United seem to have suffered a dip in form ever since the speculation around Mourinho’s future began, but perhaps this new deal could calm the waters, and bring the record English champions back on track in their pursuit of the Premier League title.
