Ryan Giggs Confirms His Interest In Managing Everton And Leicester City

A perfect opportunity has churned up for Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, as he eyes a managerial role in the Premier League.
Giggs, who has been touted as a future Old Trafford manager, is yet to coach a club after being the interim boss of United post David Moyes’ sacking in 2014. He assisted former manager Louis van Gaal for two seasons, and now, it is time he gets going with a job he desperately wants.
Post Leicester City’s decision to sack Craig Shakespeare a week earlier, Everton have now parted ways with Ronald Koeman as well, to leave two positions vacant in England’s top tier football league.
In the modern day managerial circus, Giggs won’t find life easy, where everything is based on results. But it will provide him a platform to showcase his talent as a manager after ruling the pitch for decades at Manchester.
In the latest Super 6 Class of ’92 Diary, Giggs said that he would be interested in managing either of these two clubs. The current pundit stated: “I think you look at those two teams, Leicester being champions two seasons ago, Everton being a fantastic club with a fantastic history, for me these are clubs I would be interested in.”

However, Giggs also acknowledged that several managers will be vying for these two jobs. Meanwhile, the former star player also stated that he’d be open to clubs that share his ambitions as well.
The Welshman added: “I’ve said all along that I’d be open to clubs which share the ambitions of myself. I want to improve clubs and improve players, to enjoy working for them and for players to enjoy the challenge.
“There are clubs in the Premier League which would be good jobs but also in the Championship and League One. It’s more about the philosophy for me than the stature of the club.”
Giggs will want to get going as soon as possible, but whether he lands something quickly or not is to be seen.
