Real Madrid Not Interested In £220m-Rated Harry Kane, Confirms Club President

Reigning European and La Liga champions Real Madrid are not keen to secure the services of England striker Harry Kane for a whopping fee, despite reports stating their interest in luring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real are considered the biggest football club on the planet after their domination in recent years, and Zinedine Zidane’s side continues to look like an unstoppable force. With the club signing several Galacticos over the years, Kane’s growing stature has seen him being linked with Real, as he could light up Madrid with his array of goals.
But the La Liga outfit has not thought about signing the Spurs hero, as club president Florentino Perez confirmed earlier when asked about the reports linking the Englishman to Madrid. Kane is said to be valued at a mammoth £220m, and the prez isn’t ready to break the bank for a world record transfer fee.

Madrid look happy with the options they have, especially with Karim Benzema leading the line. Pere confirmed as much, when he told radio station Cadena COPE: “I haven’t thought about signing Kane. We are happy with Benzema and the rest of the team.”

Kane has been in supreme form off late, and his consistency has been top class, evident from the fact that he has successfully bagged two successive Premier League Golden Boots. His brace against Liverpool last week was a show of grandeur, and he looks like an unstoppable force at the moment.
Meanwhile, Real lie second in the La Liga table, and need consistency to stop the unbeaten Barcelona, in order to defend their title. Kane looks like a tailor made prospect for Real, and despite them denying any move, a lot depends on how the current season pans out.
