Reports: Mourinho Had Two Furious Outbursts In 48 Hours Following Huddersfield Defeat

Jose Mourinho seems to be having trouble repressing his temper, as reports have claimed that he had a furious outburst on his squad for the second time in the space of 48 hours.
The Portuguese has reportedly challenged the players at his disposal to beat Tottenham on Saturday. He had already slammed his players’ attitude towards Huddersfield in the dressing room at the John Smith’s Stadium last Saturday following their first Premier League defeat of the year’s campaign.
However, the tactician was still found infuriated when the players returned to training at Carrington on Monday morning, according to DailyMail.

A United source even claimed, “He lost it. He shouted at the players that it wasn’t good enough, and told them there’s an expectation to win at United. He wanted a response out of them.”
Although the behaviour was expected of Mourinho after the humiliating defeat, the 54-year-old may end up making the situation worse.
The Red Devils picked up a satisfactory victory over Swansea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. However, the United gaffer is finding it difficult to brush off the defeat against the newly promoted team in the Premier League. Therefore, he has demanded of his players to secure a crushing victory over Spurs on this weekend.
Three players, namely Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly, whose availability was sceptical for the massive fixture, have reportedly returned to training, and are deemed fit.
Speaking about the game, Herrera proclaimed: “Sometimes, during the season, you have one or two really bad games and Huddersfield was one of them. We want to forget, we want to look forward, we want to get good feelings and now we are playing against a top team like Tottenham. It’s not going to be easy. We have a massive game on Saturday and we need to win.”
A win for the Old Trafford outfit on Saturday could prove to be very important for United, who currently share the same number of points with Spurs on the table. Furthermore, the three points would provide them with a chance to close in on Man City, who are comfortably sitting at the top.
However, it is also plausible that the morale of the players has gone down considering the behaviour the influential manager showcased. Whether the furious approach made by Jose turns out to be for better or worse can only be evaluated this weekend.
