In spite of the tragic performances put up by Chelsea in Rome, Antonio Conte still has the support of the higher-ups, as per the Mirror.
With a huge clash with the Red Devils approaching this weekend, the Italian tactician is undoubtedly striving to fix the issues concerning the form the squad has been displaying. A victory this Sunday would provide the Blues with a further chance to grapple with the big names for the Premier League title.
The fact that the team’s efficacy wore off primarily due to the injuries can’t be ignored with ease. The Londoners have been playing for three weeks without their midfield maestro N’Golo Kante. Victor Moses, too, has been unable to operate on the flanks for a while now due to the hamstring injury he suffered earlier.

To add to this huge list, Pedro acquired a fractured cheekbone during pre-season, Gary Cahill faced suspension, and the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger haven’t completely adapted to the Premier League, thereby summing up the detrimental spell the Blues have been exposed to this season.

However, the club is being supportive at the moment, and is ostensibly waiting for the winter transfer season to draw near, as the top officials are planning to provide Antonio Conte with more resources in the hopes of advancing the team forward.
With the widely anticipated fixture drawing closer, Thibaut Courtois conceded: “City are nine points ahead of us, United four, Tottenham just one.
