Ronaldo Could Return To Old Trafford Because Of Isco

Manchester United’s favorite former star is witnessing a dry spell at Real Madrid. With just one goal in twelve La Liga appearances, frustrations have been at an all-time high for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Moreover, it appears that Real Madrid too, have taken notice of this, and are now willing to ship their talisman back to the Old Trafford outfit for a mere £75 million, and all of this is reportedly due to the demands of one player.

As per Don Balon, Isco is tired of playing second fiddle to Ronaldo, and has demanded that club to build the team around him instead.

Having scored four times and assisted three goals already, the Spaniard certainly does seem the better fit for the key position within the playing style being employed by Los Blancos.

Further, at 25, Isco certainly has the age advantage over Ronaldo. The latter, after being purchased from England in 2009 for a then world record fee of £80 million, certainly seems to have played out his peak years in Spain. The several awards he has notched during the tenure are certainly reflective of that.

But now, it increasingly appears that a change of guard is long overdue for the La Liga giants, and Isco is just the man for it. Despite featuring in and out for Madrid, a semblance of consistency has been maintained. His attacking flair often mimics, if not betters that of his teammates.

His demands might even work for the greater good of all parties. Mourinho will be more than happy to have Ronaldo amongst his ranks, as he would perfectly fit the profile of the world-class wide forward that the former Real Madrid manager desperately desires.

All in all, Isco’s succession in Spain might mark a new chapter of fresh and quality football for both sides.
