What Mourinho Wants United To Do To Stop Him From Leaving
According to Manchester Evening News, Jose Mourinho wants his club to show the love they have for him by forwarding an improved new deal, as the manager has successfully reached the halfway stage of his original three-year deal at Old Trafford.
With Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain heavily linked with the 54-year-old, United will find it tough to keep Mourinho without any increments in his contract, forcing executive vice chairman Ed Woodward to hand the veteran an offer which would keep his status intact among the world’s best coaches.
The Special One won the Community Shield, the EFL Cup, and the Europa League during his first season with the Red Devils.
With around 18 months of his contract remaining, and an option to extend it further by one year, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager was believed to be happy at Old Trafford, until speculation of him joining PSG caught the headlines last month.
Paris Saint-Germain are said to have made tentative enquiries to Jorge Mendes, Mourinho’s agent, and United are well aware that Jose could be tempted by a move to France. But his willingness to enter into negotiations over a contract extension shows that he sees his future at Manchester United.
The Red Devils are currently competing with top-seeded Manchester City for the Premier League title, but any deal to keep the Portuguese at the Theatre of Dreams will depend on whether United see him as the man to turn them into the dominant force in England once more.

He should leave! We don’t like his defensive and boring tactics. You have Rashford, Martial, Mata and Lindegard who can you play lukaku who cannot jump, dribble and create space for himself as a striker for good 90 minutes?
