Manchester United are purportedly opting to retract themselves from taking non-essential risks with Paul Pogba’s health condition, as the midfielder hasn’t been deemed fit yet, with the widely anticipated clash with Newcastle United coming up this weekend.

According to Telegraphthe Premier League fixture might come too soon for the former Juventus man. He has been refrained from operating on the field for the past 9 weeks, missing 12 United games in the process, following a hamstring tear to his left hamstring during their 3-0 Champions League win over Basel on September 12.

The United man initially spent weeks in Miami convalescing. However, the talented midfielder marked his return to United’s Carrington training base last month, with stepping up his rehabilitation in mind.

In fact, some reports also claim that the Frenchman trained with United’s reserve team last week, and furthermore, he has been spotted running routinely.

The United gaffer is longing for the return of the midfielder, even though the club is reluctant owing to the issues which could follow as a result of deploying him competitively too soon.

The United talisman was spotted in Paris as he spectated France’s triumph over Wales on Friday. Furthermore, he embraced his teammates, and reportedly proclaimed that he would be back soon. He then attended the MTV European Music Awards in London on Sunday night with his brothers Florentin and Mathias.

The Red Devils currently sit second in the table, with the team at the peak eight points ahead of them. Supporters discern that it’s largely owing to the fact that the Frenchman couldn’t participate in many matches.

Meanwhile, veteran Michael Carrick and defender Marcos Rojo are also close to returning back to the team, however, Phil Jones’s presence for Newcastle fixture remains sceptical.
