Cristiano Ronaldo, who was once considered the best footballer when he was at his peak, has been playing inconsistently and scoring less for the Spanish giants lately. Accordingly, Real Madrid have been engaging themselves in a hunt for a replacement for the wideman.
The Real fan-favourite has had a celebrated career at the Bernabeu during his eight-and-a-half-year tenure, and the supporters will be upset over his departure undoubtedly.
The decorated figure has won two league titles and three Champions League with Los Blancos amidst his polished spell. Nonetheless, latest reports claim that the superstar is unhappy with life in Madrid.
There are seemingly only a few clubs where the 32-year-old could relentlessly glow despite his age. And apparently, the talisman has reportedly held informal consultations over a likely move to Paris Saint Germain.
The four-time Ballon d’Or laureate recently conceded that he has no intention of penning another deal for the Spanish side, which sparked the French capital club to strive for his priceless signature.
According to SportsMole, talks have allegedly been held at a hotel in Madrid, with agent Jorge Mendes reportedly willing to push through a deal if Ronaldo were to express a desire to move to Paris.
That being said, if the Parc des Princes outfit desires to haul the admired forward to France, they’d have to engross a huge amount to satisfy the La Liga giants, hence further facilitating the transfer.
The Parisians have already broken the world record transfer by swooping for Neymar from Barcelona. It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if they happen to repeat the process.
