Father Hints At Neymar’s Next Club

Neymar Sr. has openly admitted that his son’s recently speculated move to Real Madrid is certainly a possibility.

Neymar Jr.’s switch to the French capital will forever be etched down in football history as the transfer that changed the financial fabrics of the sport.

The Brazilian’s record breaking €220 million move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer has also given birth to an incredibly successful spell in his career.

However, apart from the former Barcelona star’s 15 goals and 9 assists for the French giants since making the switch, his PSG career’s peak was the controversial on-pitch squabble with teammate Edinson Cavani over a spot-kick.

On the other hand, it was recently reported that Neymar is not exactly happy with the life in Paris, and is already feeling exhausted. These reports were quickly followed by rumours linking the Brazil international to former rivals Real Madrid.

And though the talented wideman brushed off reporters who quizzed him on the situation, his father was not shy to give a statement.

“Things can change a lot,” Neymar’s ‘agent’ told Fox Sports. “Right now, there is no thought [of a move to Real Madrid] and answering this is just discussing an impossibility. I can’t talk not about negotiations in five or six years.

“Neymar has a lengthy contract at PSG and has just arrived. We’ve been here for three months and there is already talk of an exit. It is difficult to talk about these things.”

Though the 25-year-old’s arrival at the Parc Des Princes isn’t exactly something too far off in the past, a move to the Spanish capital could exactly be the spark that could manage to rejuvenate Zinedine Zidane’s struggling side.
