Antoine Griezmann Picks His Next Club, Tells Them To Pay Release Clause
Antoine Griezmann is set to reject Manchester United’s advances and focus on a move to Barcelona.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Madrid for quite a while now, and might as well have been a United player this season had it not been for Atletico’s transfer ban.
The player was eager to stay at the club during their tough times to avoid fans feeling betrayed by his move to another club.

His dry spell has coincided with Atletico’s woeful form, and the club has managed to put just 27 points on the board so far – 8 points behind table toppers Barcelona.
Griezmann is said to be more keen on a move to the Nou Camp than he is to Old Trafford. Despite his brother being a United fan, the striker has mentioned his reservations about the weather in England, and could see that as a potential turn-off.
At the same time, it is yet to be seen as to whether Barca really want him. According to Don Balon, the 26-year-old is searching for ‘guarantees’ that the Catalan club is interested in him, but he may be disappointed with the outcome.
Barca are believed to be unsure about the former Real Sociedad star due to his poor recent form. As a result, he may be left with no choice but to sign for Man United if he really wants to leave the club in the summer.
