Anthony Martial is continuing to grow in stature at Manchester United, and that could see the club not go in for superstars like Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale in the summer.
After being criticized by manager Jose Mourinho last season, the Frenchman has put back all his woes, and is delivering the goods at the moment.
The ex-Monaco player is enjoying life at Old Trafford, and that has been beneficial for the club, as the team continues to reap the benefits. Martial is slowly earning the trust of Mourinho, and he will look to play a vital part this term, especially with the 2018 FIFA World Cup in mind.
According to Independent, Jose has now gotten convinced that the France international has what it takes to perform on a consistent basis for the Premier League giants.
The club has been linked with Griezmann and Bale, but it now appears like the manager may decide against going for them next term.
While Martial has displayed real progress, Bale continues to suffer from consistent injury issues, and that is something Jose cannot afford.

Griezmann could still come to United still, but a lot depends on the future of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who is suffering from a lack of form. Mourinho will be eager to see everything out until the end of the season, and then make a decision.
With Martial being influential once again this week after scoring his 6th Premier League goal of the season against Watford at Vicarage Road in a 4-2 win, Jose will be hoping to see more of his qualities.
Although Mourinho stated after the game that Martial needs to improve his fitness to last the entire 90 minutes, he has lauded the player for working hard and giving the team a cushion.
