French League Midfielder Reveals ‘Obsession’ To Sign For The Red Devils
Several players dream of playing for the glorified Manchester United since a very young age. One such player is Rennais’ prolific striker James Léa-Siliki.
With sheer hard work, the 21-year-old forward has emerged as an important player at the Roazhon Park since last season.
The Frenchman has been working hard to help his team reach new heights, while at the back of his mind, he believes his hard work will one day lead him to Man United. In an interview with Ouest France, he expressed his desire to play at Old Trafford.
“When I was younger, in my room, I dreamt of big games. I’m a professional footballer, it’s an obsession ever since I could understand,” he revealed.
“I dreamt of Manchester United, of their stadium, of their colours. I grew up with the Ferguson years, the Boxing Day games on Canal+, the 95th minute wins.
“I grew up with the Yorke-Cole partnership, Mikaël Silvestre, Louis Saha, Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo… Ryan Giggs was a monument until the very end.”
The youngster is, however, patient with his career at the moment, as he has enough time with him to make a mark in the larger football arena. He still believes that he can work harder to improve his skills even more.
