Real Madrid President Drops Biggest Neymar Transfer Hint

Neymar Jr. departed from Camp Nou for Paris Saint-German last summer, and in the process, it made him the most expensive player in the history of football.

He reportedly believed that he had absolutely no chance of winning the Ballon d’Or while playing alongside Messi, and this belief convinced him to make the switch to the French capital.

The Brazilian has since had a dream start at the Parisian club, having already scored 15 goals in 18 matches, and we are not even halfway through the season.

However, in spite of his prolific form, life for Neymar hasn’t been a cakewalk with the Ligue 1 leaders. Following a rift with teammate Edinson Cavani in September, he also got involved in a brawl with boss Unai Emery, after which reports of him leaving the club went viral.

If, by any chance, Neymar throws a clear hint of wanting to leave PSG, Spanish giants Real Madrid will be real quick to materialize the deal to bring him to Santiago Bernabeu.

Real president Florentino Perez has been scouting the forward for some time now, and is looking for any opportunity to grab him. He also publicly said that Neymar has a better chance of winning the Ballon d’Or if he joins Los Blancos.

Perez was quoted as saying (via Telegraph): “Being in Madrid would make it easier to win the Ballon d’Or. It is a club that gives a big player everything they need to do so. Everyone knows I wanted to sign him.”

The president even tried to sign the 25-year-old in 2013, but the forward chose to play for their bitter rivals Barcelona instead. The sensation created a name for himself while playing for the Catalans, and has never looked back since.
