In the hopes of raising the funds for the winter window, Jose Mourinho has reportedly offered Luke Shaw to a host of Premier League clubs, reports the Daily Record.

When the Red Devils threw £27m on him in 2014, the left-back became the most expensive teenager in the world.

However, he’s made just 50 appearances for the club in the three-and-a-half-years since the switch.

The English international has made just one start so far in this year’s campaign, that being during this week’s 2-1 win against CSKA Moscow, in which he displayed impressive performance.

The United gaffer declared later that he would provide the 22-year-old with more opportunities following his brilliant form.

But regardless, he’s expected to be dropped from United’s 18-man matchday squad for Sunday’s Manchester Derby.

Despite offering the talented defender to a number of English clubs, Tottenham are seemingly the club keen on landing the ex-Saints man as of now.

It’s owing to the fact that Ashley Young, Marcos Rojo, and Daley Blind are all ahead of the former Southampton left-back in the pecking order, the Old Trafford outfit is considering to let him go, despite for a loss. Purportedly, Man Utd are willing to accept any bids around £20m.

The talented figure will be out of contract at the end of this season, but the Mancunians are presumed to trigger a 12-month extension clause, providing them with an opportunity to cash in during the upcoming two windows, as per latest sources.

Regardless of the speculation, the Englishman has never spilt any comments on his future at Old Trafford, howsoever doubtful that may be.
