Mourinho’s Woes Continue As Top Defender Ruled Out For 6 Weeks
Manchester United had to face defeat at home against league leaders Manchester City on Sunday, which has now created an 11-point gap between them.
However, Red Devils’ manager Jose Mourinho’s worries seem far from over, as Eric Bailly is set to miss the remaining features this year.
As per a report from The Sun, the 23-year-old has aggravated a serious groin injury, which will keep him off the field for at least six weeks.

This will be a blow to the Portuguese manager, who will require his full squad to enhance their game in order to turn the tables around.

With the former Villarreal player out for the crucial period of Christmas and January, Mourinho will have to reshuffle his centre-backs for the upcoming matches, especially with Phil Jones still recovering from an injury incurred during his international match last month.
Considered one of the Premier League’s top defenders, the Ivorian centre-back was last seen on November 5, when Chelsea defeated United 1-0.
Bailly, who was scouted by Barcelona’s technical Secretary at the start of the season, has made 10 appearances for the team so far this term.
