Everyone Is Talking About What Lukaku Did After Scoring Against Bournemouth

Romelu Lukaku left the stadium quite unhappy following an objectionable performance on the pitch against his side’s arch-rivals Manchester City on Sunday.

The match ending 2-1, the Belgian was responsible for City’s either goals, and furthermore, as the game progressed, he squandered an opportunity to equalize late on.

The ex-Everton striker was bought for £75 million to contribute the Old Trafford outfit with his goal tally.

However, as he headed into the match against Bournemouth on Wednesday night, the Belgian international had scored just twice in 14 matches for United.

Accordingly, in view of his terrible form, a few supporters even hoped for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be rather provided with his first start to the season, as the Swede has made only substitute appearances since his return from the horrible knee injury.

Regardless, the 24-year-old striker responded to his critics in sweet style in the fixture against the Cherries, as he yet again started the match rather than Zlatan.

Although the away side made a good start to the game, it was United who triggered the goal tally. Moreover, Lukaku was the man to open the scoring in the 25th minute for his side, with a fine header from a Juan Mata cross.

However, what followed the goal has also enticed some attention. The decorated striker found it irritating to have spotted the back of the net, and was reluctant to celebrate, displaying a blank expression.

His non-celebration resulted in numerous reactions on Twitter. The supporters, in fact, didn’t actually know what to make of it.
