Jose Mourinho is reportedly said to have had a training ground bust-up with Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as an interesting period is set to engulf Old Trafford.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been left out in seven of the last eight games for the club as speculation surrounding his future continues to keep growing.

Henrikh got off to a good start in the Premier League, but soon after that, his form fell down drastically, which led to Mourinho shunning him completely.

According to ESPN, the former Chelsea manager had a row with the playmaker during a video analysis session at the club’s Carrington training ground last month. This report comes after it was being believed that the player lost his place due to just lack of form.

Further reports also state that the Armenian is fighting to save his United career, and with the issues at hand, he could be drafted out of the side.

Mkhitaryan is being monitored by his former club Dortmund, and it is believed that the right amount of money could see the Red Devils selling him in the January window itself.

The manager has used other options available to him instead of the Armenian in the last few games, and the threat of a sudden departure continues to loom over his future.

Moreover, United’s interest lies within Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, and if the German does reunite with Jose at the Theatre of Dreams, then Mkhitaryan would be allowed to leave.

Earlier in his press conference, ahead of the tie against West Bromwich Albion, Jose said unhappy players will not be asked to remain at the club if they can get the right price. Micki has an interesting situation lying ahead, and the next few weeks will be a crucial phase.
