Lyon Star Reveals Desire To Move To England, Arsenal Interested
Intentions are all it takes in the modern game for players to make the shift from one league to another overnight.
And if the talent in question has already come under the radar of some powerhouse, then a nearby transfer window is all it takes to tip the scales in the favor of a business travel turned move.
Such a case seems to be brewing for Man United and Arsenal target Nabil Fekir, with the Lyon star’s latest comments causing much flurry.

While speaking to the Spanish media, the attacking midfield-cum-striker revealed spoke about a potential move in the future, by saying: “Spain, with Real [Madrid], Barcelona & Atlético [Madrid] who are the big clubs.
“After that, there is England: Man United, Man City, Arsenal. I don’t have a specific club [I want to go to].”
However, all of it could also be wishful thinking on the part of those supporters who are already preparing for the arrival of the next big name, as the 24-year-old also added: “Is this my last season at Lyon? I don’t know what the future holds for me. I’ve still got two years left on my contract. So, I’m still Lyonnais.”
That last phrase will certainly irk many, as it doubles as a safe neutral comment as well as a potential hint of departure.
At Arsenal, he could solve the problems that could potentially arise should Ozil and Sanchez bid farewell, whereas United could view the Frenchman as a welcome replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who, as the weeks go by, seems more and more likely to depart.
Fekir’s attitude is one that several have believed to be best suited for the Mancunian outfit, with a self-certain brand of arrogance, coupled with an ease-filled and confident approach on the pitch almost screaming of typical Manchester United DNA.
