Manchester United have shortlisted Ajax forward Justin Kluivert as a potential transfer target for the upcoming January transfer window, according to reports.

Red Devils’ manager, Jose Mourinho, has been in the market to find a suitable winger, and has already been linked with the likes of Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale and Chelsea’s Willian, after missing out on Croatian international Ivan Perisic in the summer.

Moreover, the Special One is also said to be showing keen interest in young talents to fill the role.

Monaco starlet, Thomas Lemar, Bordeaux’s Malcom, and Christian Pulisic of Borussia Dortmund are reportedly the top candidates for a potential transfer.

But as per the latest report from Yahoo Sport, the Portuguese tactician has now added the Ajax youngster to his shopping list as well.

Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of the 18-year-old forward, and was even seen complimenting the youngster after United’s 2-0 Europa League final triumph over Ajax in May last season.

Kluivert, son of veteran Dutch forward Patrick, was promoted to the first team last season, in which he netted 6 goals from 27 appearances.

The teenager has scored 4 goals in 13 Eredivisie games this season, which includes a sumptuous hat-trick against Roda JC in November.

Furthermore, the winger, whose current contract will expire in the summer of 2019, is represented by Mino Raiola, who has already helped the Red Devils with the transfers of multiple superstars like Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
