Experienced Real Madrid Star Set For Move After Poor El Clasico Display?

Karim Benzema’s future at Real Madrid is hanging in the balance after the forward put in another poor display against Barcelona in El Clasico.
The Frenchman has been made the scapegoat for much of Los Blancos’ frustrations, and it appears as though the fans have reached their boiling point.
They have been very annoyed by the striker’s woeful showings in front of goal, and are calling for him to get the axe, although he still remains a firm favourite of Zinedine Zidane’s.
In the end, though, the final decision lies with the club’s president, Florentino Perez, who has threatened to sell him if his performances do not improve, according to Diario Gol.
Benzema started Real’s blockbuster clash against Barcelona, and was woeful up front, proving to be little to no challenge for the Catalan club’s defense.
His insipid display ultimately had no effect on the result of the game, as Barca ended up winning 3-0 through goals from Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, and Aleix Vidal to go 14 points clear of their rivals at the top of La Liga.
With a number of players such as Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, Benzema’s future at the club is in serious doubt, and he could be forced to leave in the coming transfer windows.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the France international, including the likes of Arsenal, Juventus, Monaco, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.
