The Red Giants could enjoy the contributions of the 25-year-old for a year more, as the talented defender’s contract runs out next year. Regardless, if the former Rovers’ man keeps on exhibiting consistent forms, United might even consider pinning him down for a longer term.

With Luke Shaw returning to his prime form, Jose Mourinho has a finer defensive line at his disposal as of now.
