Paul Pogba To Leave Manchester United?
Paul Pogba, both in terms of performance and in actuality, has been a sorry sight at Manchester United during recent weeks.
After a dismal showing against Newcastle, where the Red Devils lost 1-0, the erstwhile dynamic Frenchman, who has also been named United’s captain on numerous occasions, has been sidelined on the bench.
Now, the latest claim regarding his future might not be one that supporters will be all too keen on hearing.
As per Sports Illustrated, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has already begun calling top European clubs regarding a transfer for the 24-year-old. The report added that although no club is interested as of yet, Real Madrid are amongst the names on the list.

The importance of agents can’t be better stressed than in the case of Pogba himself, who was pursued heavily by United as well as the Galacticos in 2016. Back then, Raiola was able to secure the move to Old Trafford for a sum of £89 million.
To add to the pressure is the fact that Raiola is somewhat of a daunting figure when it comes to agents, and the influence he exercises across clubs and players is bound to be a big factor.
However, if Mourinho’s past is any indication, the Portuguese tactician is merely giving Pogba a break in hopes that the midfielder is able to pick up his style and play once again.
Against Sevilla in the first-leg of the UEFA Champions League tie, Pogba was subbed on in place of an injured Herrera. During that tie, and the FA Cup encounter against Huddersfield before it, hints of a 4-3-3 formation were in sight, which is Pogba’s preferred style of play.
If this proves to be a long-term measure, then Mourinho is planning on building the team around the former Juventus man. But if this report is, in fact, true, United might need to be a tad bit wary lest they lose their star man.
