Juventus are apparently monitoring Paul Pobga’s situation at Old Trafford, and are considering the possibility of re-signing him.

The Frenchman became the most expensive player in the world for a brief period of time when he made the switch back to United from Turin in the summer of 2016, and he has been a mainstay of the first team ever since.

However, since he put in possibly his best display for the club in the away game against Arsenal, he suffered an injury that kept him out for a few weeks, followed by a massive dip in form that has seen him lose his spot to wonderkid Scott McTominay.

As a result, rumours have been rife about a supposed rift between Pogba and Jose Mourinho, and many papers are starting to suggest he could leave United just two seasons on from returning to the club whose academy he graduated from.

A move to Real Madrid has been hinted at by the media, but latest updates from Italy and France suggest otherwise.

According to L’Equipe (via Il Bianconero), Juventus had a buy-back clause inserted into Pogba’s current contract with United, that could see them bring him back to Turin for a fee in the region of €60 million.

The Old Lady are keeping tabs on the midfielder and are considering the possibility of bringing him back, but are only concerned about his wage demands.

Reports suggest that Pogba would demand around €12 million a season – around €5 million more than the club’s current highest earners, Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain, take home.
