Manchester United has always been a hub for great talent to develop and excel. If not from their youth academy, the scouts seem to be perpetually on the lookout for young and rising players from other nations to eventually integrate them into the system.

While not all are lucky enough to make the final cut, it is still a matter of great prestige to break through into the professional ranks, and the brand of Manchester United never looks bad on a resume.

Now, yet another youngster is all set to make the Red Devils a possible long-term destination.

United, on their official site, confirmed that their U-18 player, Largie Ramazani, has signed his first professional contract with the club. At just 17 years of age, the starlet has already been dubbed as one of the finest wonderkids in the system.

Of Belgian origin, Ramazani was initially a part of the Anderlecht youth set-up.

Following his phenomenal performances, the attacking winger was quickly swooped up by Charlton Athletic, who have had a successful knack for identifying great talent, as evident in their graduates Joe Gomez and Ademola Lookman.

From thereon, the teenager was awarded a scholarship to the United academy last year. Under the leadership of United’s youth coach Kieran McKenna, he was able to ensure his side claimed the top spot in the Premier League North.

Scoring in both games against a dangerous Everton side, he was also successful in finding the net when they faced off opposite Stoke City.

While the likes of Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford have done phenomenally well with the senior team after having graduated from the academy, not all players have been able to cut in that well in the face of massive transfers from elsewhere.

Add to that the challenge of youngsters already facing a selection headache at United, and one is assured that should this lad wish to make history at Old Trafford, he better put in the effort.
