Anthony Martial could be on his way out of Man Utd in the summer, according to reports.

The decision to sell the Frenchman is related to club’s long standing interest in a move for Gareth Bale.

Man Utd is finally set to make a serious approach for the Welshman, as it has emerged that Real Madrid are willing to let him go for as little as £50 million.

Of course, that figure is hardly anything for a club with a £300 million budget, but Jose Mourinho has already stated his desire to focus the funds on the recruitment of quality defenders and midfielders.

Hence, one of the attackers might be forced to make way for Bale, and Martial looks the likeliest to do so.

According to The Sunday Mirror, Mourinho has ‘lost patience’ with the 22-year-old, despite a respectable figure of 11 goals and seven assists in the 40 appearances the player has made so far this term.

The Frenchman is far from short of admirers too, which would make the task of selling him a whole lot easier for the Red Devils. Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus have made their interest known, and have already opened talks with Martial’s representatives.

Some reports even claim that the former Monaco star has spoken to his France team-mate Blaise Matuidi – who has in turn been linked with a switch to Old Trafford – about a move.

Despite Gareth Bale’s incredible ability to have an influence on any game when he is on the pitch, Real Madrid fans have grown frustrated at the star’s poor fitness record.

The 28-year-old has spent a lot of time on the treatment table, and it has forced the Liga Santander giants to begin searching for a replacement.

Mourinho has been a firm admirer of Bale for quite a while now, and confirmed last summer that he would be interested in signing the speedster if Real were to make him available.
