After a brilliant week wherein they thoroughly saw the dismays of their rivals Manchester City, who suffered a derby defeat and a Champions League exit to a triumphant Liverpool, normal Premier League duty now awaits the Red Devils.

This time around, Old Trafford will see the arrival of West Brom, who sit rock bottom in the Premier League table, and have no hope for revival in sight. In fact, they could be sentenced to relegation during this game itself, if United do the expected and results elsewhere go well.

Here’s how the teams are likely to lineup during the weekend fixture:

Manchester United

Jose Mourinho is one to never change a winning team, and will likely go ahead with the 4-3-3 itself once again, particularly owing to its effectiveness in releasing Pogba to wreak maximum havoc. As of such, Herrera is likely to get a start again, and Fellaini might hope to play a late role, having seen a full recovery.

In fact, apart for Sergio Romero, who is still recovering from a blow he received while on international duty with Argentina, Mourinho has the rare pleasure of choosing from a fully fit side at his disposal.

If a change in formation does occur, it will do the club much good to give unhappy Martial a start, and perhaps even incorporate Marcus Rashford again.

West Brom

With their third manager for the season and a collective three Premier League victories to their name, the future doesn’t look good for the Baggies. Their sole hope at Old Trafford will be to frustrate the Red Devils by playing deep and hope to salvage a point in the process.

They will be without Gareth Barry, James Morrison, and possibly Robson-Kanu for the match, while the fitness of Chadli and Jonny Evans is still a doubt going into the fixture that could potentially see them kiss Premier League football a sad goodbye for quite a while.
